Sr SQL Server Database developer, Downtown Seattle,WA, 3 months contract to full time perm position
The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in database design and development with SQL Server. It is equally important that the successful candidate demonstrates great attention to detail and is able to meet deadlines consistently and efficiently. Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, although qualified candidates with significant backgrounds in SQL database development will also be considered.

The successful candidate will also possess the following:
• 5+ years of database development experience with SQL Server.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server 2005, SSMS, SSIS, Profiler and DBCC.
• Extensive experience of database design, referential integrity and normalization techniques.
• Expert in writing stored procedures, triggers and user-defined functions.
• Extensive experience with performance optimization.
• 3 years of ETL experience.
• Experience with development of multi-tiered applications.
• Experience with Oracle and/or Sybase a strong plus.
• Practical knowledge of.NET and C# a plus.
