1/25-2/7: Acrylic painting class (Seattle)

Painting is fun! And acrylics are a good medium to start with.. The colors are bright, permanent and expressive. Acrylics can be used in a solid form similar to oils, or diluted to make paintings that are similar in some respects to watercolors. Unlike oils, they dry almost instantly, so don't need to wait days or weeks for your painting to dry. Unlike watercolors,

In my acrylic painting class, students learn about color theory; learn how to mix and blend colors; learn how to paint simple objects; then paint some still lifes and easy landscape elements.

The class is aimed at beginners. It meets in Seattle on the U.W. campus.
