Summary: Reporting directly to our Buying/Merchandising Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of Super Supplements by driving the business strategy, assortment content and financial plan of the assigned category through both internal and external partners. This position will identify and drive category strategies and initiatives resulting in delivering customer-focused product assortment that achieves financial goals.

Education & Experience:

• B.S./B.A or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years category management experience for a multi-channel, multi-location retailer within the supplement, natural products or grocery industry

• Fluent in MS Office
• Knowledge of supplement or grocery industry and understanding of consumer behavior in relation to product performance
• Demonstrated ability to utilize and analyze financial, statistical, merchandising and consumer data
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead effective partnerships
• Demonstrated ability to understand and think big picture
• Well developed computer aptitude with proficient skill and knowledge of MS Office, data mining, POS systems, ERP systems and ability to adapt to and learn new systems quickly
• Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to convert data and findings into applied, specific information and suggestions that add value to business planning
• Ability to manage projects of a large scope with detailed accuracy
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to team well with peers, customers, store managers, and vendors
• Good organizational and time management skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A passion for improving processes and a commitment to customer satisfaction
