Print Program Manager Contract Position


Temporary, full-time contract position
6 month initial contract, possible extension to 12 months

My Client is seeking the services of a temporary Print Program Manager to help develop a comprehensive printing services program for my client. This includes developing short and long-term plans for managing existing Publishing Services (copy center) contract at the central office, fleet of 379 leased Canon copiers, 212 stand-alone fax machines and several thousand direct and network-attached printers of varying models and brands across 84 sattelite and the headquarters in Seattle

This work will include financial analysis of equipment lease versus purchase options, repair and maintenance service options, developing cost center allocation models and identifying internal revenue opportunities compared to cost and budget projections. After a plan is formulated and approved, the manager will prepare and coordinate a Request for Proposals process and implement the approved plan.

The Print Program Manager will also have interim operational and contract management responsibility for the Publishing Services contract, copier fleet lease, and all copier, printer and fax maintenance and support coordination.

Position Qualifications:

• 2 years previous experience managing a print services program.
• Understands business requirements and operations of printing services including copy center, copier, print and fax services.
• Ability to prepare a financial analysis of various cost and budget models.
• Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts for print production services and printing equipment maintenance and support.
• Strong customer service focus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
