me: 22/f/west seattle w/ a 24hr membership. I find that i hate going to the gym because other than cardio, i don't know what to do. i do need a personal trainer, but those folks charge like a month's salary!!

you: an experienced person to show me what machines do what and what i need to do to ensure optimal fat burn! i wouldn't be able to pay you what the pros get at 24 hr, but i would be willing to negotiate a compensation plan. (Actually, I'm a recent college grad with debt up to my ears, so the best I could do is maybe treat you to dinner or a smoothie).

I would also be willing to work outside the gym...maybe like boot camp style or something since it's been so nice out! I've recently picked up a walk/jog routine...but would love some company to keep me motivated.

Short term goal: 30 pounds, long term goal: 60 pounds, longer term goal: 90 pounds!!! I'm in serious need of an accountabilibuddy!

Hi! I have a Vagabond 14 daysailer in good condition that I keep on a trailer right next to Lake Washington (with easy access to the water by hand launching).

I'm wondering if anyone out there has a similar setup with another type of boat (Laser, 420, etc.) that might be willing to "Exchange" use of our boats. I.e., I would be able to sail yours and vice-versa. I haven't really heard of this being done so I'm just sort of putting it out there to see if anyone else is interested.

I'm looking for someone like me that has a boat in good condition, takes care of it, respects how it is maintained and is honest & trustworthy. It's hard enough letting someone else use your own boat, so if I were to do it, I'd want the person to respect my boat as if it were their own, which I would do in return.

I'm not a long-ball hitter (usually, until I lull them into complacency with enough grounders and short hits) but I can place-hit and can hit behind the runners. "Little ball" wins games.

Tell me where you play - what city and if not a city league then what league.
Do you play single games or double headers?
What day / night and time?

I'm looking for teams that know and actually USE good sound fundamentals - ya know, hit your cutoff, don't throw home but instead keep the force on so you can get outs because, after all, this is slow-pitch, play your own position (instead of trying to cover someone else's) 'cuz the team needs your position filled, etc.

I want to see competition in a fundamental way, not an idiotic or drama way. Outplay 'em, don't out-shout 'em or blame the world on the umpire. And fundamental starts with "fun" and that's when we all play at our best anyway.

I've been living in West Seattle for about a year and I love riding my bike. I've gotten in pretty good shape--just finished up Ride The Rockies and STP in one day--but would like to explore more around the city. I would especially like to find other young women to ride with (I'm 33), since most of the cycling clubs are primarily men quite a bit older than me. To give you an idea of my pace, on STP my average was 17.7 mph including rolling hills, but I can go a little slower or faster depending on the situation.

Id love to see the Thunderbirds tomorrow, and dont have a car. Anyone headed that way who doesnt mind a passenger? If youre not going to the airshow, I could catch a shuttle from either the SR512 park and ride, or Lakewood Mall.

I am renting a zipcar for the day and hiking Excelsior Ridge on Mount Baker tomorrow. The car costs about $80 but that is about how much gas would cost if we had to pay (zipcar gives free gas!). I can take about three. I will leave around 8:00 in the morning. If you are interested, please call me at 260 (that is right 260 not 206) 460 0814. I live downtown seattle so we will meet there the day of. I heard this is a great trail and will take care of the details on how to get there. Looking for female soccer player for tournament 7/26 & 7/27 (Seattle to Bellingham)

I am looking for female soccer players for the Ballapalooza tournament in Bellingham. The tournament is a week away, Saturday 7/26 thru Sunday 7/27. The tournament is guaranteed 4 soccer games between the two days. We can use players for one or both days. And it�s all on beautiful, green grass!

The team is a very relaxed and friendly. We are playing in the lowest division and concentrate equally on soccer skills and beer consumption. All skill levels are welcome. There will be after-game entertainment at the Bellingham bars and possibly a hot tub.

Accommodations to stay over might be hard to find. But in the past, people have found last minute rooms at the Silver Reef Casino/Hotel (866-383-0777). For the more adventurous, several team members have rented a house with plenty of couches and floor space. Some people even prefer to drive back and forth from home.

You will also need a WSSA card. You can get one at the tournament and they are very cheap. I believe it is $12 for just a tournament card and around $20 for a year long membership.
