People to People Ambassador Programs is a leading provider of educational travel experiences, providing international and domestic programs for students, athletes and professionals.
The Assistant Controller will be the statutory accounting resource for the organization and a contributing member of the Finance team. The position is responsible for the leading the organization’s Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and the General Ledger groups in their daily functions. The Assistant Controller will manage monthly operations of accounting functions and consolidate all subsidiaries, including incorporation of international currency effects, transfer pricing arrangements and associated intercompany transactions. Applicants should be able to work well cross-functionally with all other support departments across the organization, handle confidential information, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and must have the ability to pay close attention to detail while maintaining ability to see the larger picture. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required along with five to seven years of industry experience managing G/L accounting, A/P, A/R and Payroll functions Candidates must also have a current CPA license. Public accounting experience and management of ERP implementation preferred.
