A local healthcare business seeks an experienced accountant-bookkeeper for a privately-owned company which provides excellent benefits and work-life balance. Job Responsibilities:
Payroll processing, employee benefit recordkeeping
Maintain A/R, A/P records and data - full cycle A/R and A/P functions
Purchasing monthly inventory, maintenance of vendor relationships
Bank reconciliation
Set up and maintain required records, reports and files in an organized manner
Journal entries and preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports
Preparation of tax documents
Analysis of corporate accounts, report preparation for Board of Directors
Full charge bookkeeping in Quickbooks, expert level, coordination with custom management software
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting and 3+ years experience
Demonstrate understanding of accounting practices--GAAP
Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, PeachTree Accounting, MS Office applications, with emphasis on Excel skills
Excellent computer skills in a network environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
Self-starter, positive attitude, big picture thinker
Experience in a health-care environment a plus
US Citizenship/Washington State Drivers License
