We need to move down to Olympia ASAP and unfortunately need to find a new home for our adult cats. Everything we have tried has come to the conclusion that they can not come with us and we have very few things we can control in the situation. This is very sad to us as they have both been a part of our family since they were only months old. They are both beautiful, loving cats and it breaks my heart to have to do this. Someone once told me that it is not a cat who ends up in a crisis, it is the people in their lives who end up in the crisis. I just want our cats to be in a new home and have a great, peaceful new life after our time together.

I say now that this posting is our last hope because the move is this weekend (12/5 & 6), and we have had no luck with finding a new home for our cats. My wife and I have tried every route we can think up which have all come to dead ends on who can take care of our pets. One thing we both have been very passionate about is if we ever get to a point where we need to give them to a shelter, we want it to be a no-kill shelter. We could not just fill out the paperwork and hand our beautiful cats to some place with the possibility of un-natural death in their future because they can not get adopted due to their color, age or because they are not kittens and they need the room for other cats.

Can anyone help us? Does anyone have a warm, loving home for one of our cats or both of them. All we want is a safe, friendly home for them. They can even be separated or even be outside cats. Even though they have been indoor cats... I know they could take care of themselves if they had a home they could go to who fed them and loved them. I feel it is better than the random choice of un-natural death.

Our two cats are Lizzie and Pippin. Lizzie is an 8 year old Grey female, long-haired tabby. Pippin is an 6 year old Black male, short-haired tabby. They have been well taken care of and are both healthy adult cats with up to date shots. Pippin has a history of UTI, but it is completely under control with the food he eats. They both have great, unique personalities. Pippin is so loving and needs loving attention after a brief getting to know each other and the learning boundaries process. Lizzie thinks she is a princess of the house, but give her a little time and she is purring in your lap with love. They both can act like caged tigers in their carriers when heading to the VET or if they feel threatened with no way out, but this is rare and most of the time a hissing act. Also, with our new baby in the house, they have probably been feeling a little neglected. But overall, beautiful amazing cats.

We will need to do a small interview just to assure that they are not going to someone to feed another animal or have them be cage fighters or something inhumane. We have all heard the stories... 3rd Hutch: Just bought it May, very very good condition, hardly used. We had two bunnies in it, you can seperate the levels (what we did) or open up so the critters can go up and down. This is a great hutch. Has a hay feeder, trap door you can close above the ramp, hide away area. (1) He is clearly NOT a Saint Bernard. He's clearly a pit bull mix. He doesn't look anything like a Saint Bernard.

(2) You're asking $175 for him. That's a little steep for an adult, mixed-breed dog that looks like a pitbull. You might want to try lowering your re-homing fee to something more reasonable. It sort of seems like you're selling him or selling the stuff that goes with him.

Like all Purrfect Pals kitties, Nutmeg and Basil are microchipped, spayed and started on all vaccinations except rabies. They tested negative for FIV and Leukemia and were treated for fleas and worms by our shelter's veterinarian. 1: Ask for a re homing fee for vetting expenses, even if small by asking for one you cut into their profits, they most likely won't buy an animal, even if it's only $50.00, once you have met the person you can then decide whether or not you want to give them your pet.

2: Ask for references and verify them! One of these should be a vet, make sure that you call them, they can't give you all the information but they can verify if they bring their animals in or not and how often.

3: Do a home check! First clue that you are not dealing with someone that is real about wanting to adopt your pet is if they avoid you coming to their home.

4: If they are renters have them get a permission slip from their landlord saying they are allowed to have an animal. A lot of landlords these days will not allow what is considered the typical aggressive breed.

5: Ask a lot of questions, what kind of experience they have, if the pet you are re homing is a dog are they going to take them for walks regularly? Ask Ask Ask, no question is un important or to small.

6: Most importantly, have them sign a contract stating that if they are unable to care for the animal that they call you first! This will help to keep the profit makers away from your animals.

There are 2 �bad� things about her� one is she is afraid of men. It�s taken her 3 months to get used to my male roommates. They just make her nervous and she�ll get very protective of you. Another thing is that she doesn�t get along with other dogs. Especially big dogs. She does good with little dogs though. My roommate has a Yorkie and a Mini Schnauzer and they get along great. Chewie will lay on the floor and just let them walk all over her. But again these are all problems that can be fixed I just don�t have the time to really work with her.

I�m hoping she can go to a home close by so I can keep in touch and maybe an older couple or a stay home mom. She needs a lot of love and attention. She�ll come with her big crate (which she says in while I�m at work). If for some reason it just doesnt work out at your house PLEASE bring her back to me and I will figure out the next step. I dont want her just sold around!

Clarence (this is what we've been calling the cat) must have been in some kind of fight or accident, since he is missing his tail. The remaining stump has festered and never healed, either because of infection or because he chews on it, or both. I do not know for how long he has been this way, but the wound looks very old. He needs to have the stump amputated and treated so he can heal. I so wish I could afford this myself. I would have it done it in a heart beat if I could. I love cats and I always try to help strays, but this time it is beyond my ability. I didn't want to have to take Clarence to a shelter, so I thought I would give craigslist a try first. But if I don't have any luck here I will be forced to take him to a shaleter, since he should not be forced to go on in such a condition.

Clarence is a very sweet and friendly cat who loves attention. He has long hair and is colored similar to a Siamese or Himalayan. He is wary of strangers at first, and it took me a few days to get him to come close. But now he'll come into the house without fear and loves to be stroked. He is friendly with our two other cats and the neighbor's dog. I will post pictures of him as soon as I can get some. He is not here every day, so I have to wait for him to come back. I want Clarance to go to a good home, so I am asking a small adoption fee of $20, but I will waive the fee if I am assured that he will be given medical attention and a good home.

His ideal conditions, at least as far as he has told us is: a place where he will have a friend�either another horse, or a person who just wants a horse that they can brush and love on and talk to. A stall to get out of the weather would be nice, he will stand in the rain, but he likes to know he has a place to go to get out of the weather if he wants to. In the summer a nice grassy pasture that when the sun is baking down he can lay out like the dead and bask��and again the stall would be nice so when he gets hot he can get in the shade�..a nice tree is good for this too!

He is an easy keeper and if you�re not careful you can overfeed�so if your pasture is real grassy (I know you never thought a good grassy pasture would be a bad thing), you may want a place you can take him off the grass now and again. Just think how low your feeding costs could be.

I am not trying to turn anyone off of our good boy. I am confident he can live a long and happy life, but he will never be a riding horse. So if you are looking for even a trail rider this horse is not for you. But if you are looking for a companion, a friend, a horse that will follow you around and enjoys people, then the two of you might just be a good fit.

If you know geese, he is typical, he�ll chase you a little and even nip at you, but stand up to him and show him who is boss and he will leave you alone. If you can catch him, you can pick him up and hold him and pet him, he has never even tried to nip at us when we are holding him. The duck is a female, and if you like duck eggs she does lay.

Two things���one, we want them to go to a good home that will let them live out there lives, maybe with a pond and with nice people content to enjoy there sounds and appreciate how pretty they are! So if you are looking for a Christmas goose for the dinner table, please don�t respond! And two, they must go and stay together! They were raised together from the time they were very little, we truly believe they think they are from the same mother. They go everywhere and stay together, so separating them would kill them!
