The Harmony
Retreat is cozy and intimate for a romantic getaway, yet spacious
enough for a family to enjoy. Located in a quiet, safe neighborhood,
solo guests will feel welcome too.
The
upstairs Tranquility Suite features a queen bed with sumptuously
soft 1000- thread-count sheets, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan,
sitting area, TV/VCR, CD clock radio, and a full bathroom with a
soaking tub and double sinks. The adjacent upstairs open loft has
a twin daybed, fine for sleeping or relaxing with a good book. There
is also a pack-and-play portable crib available for your little one.
On
the main level, the colorful Namaste Room has a full bed with memory
foam topper and decor with an international flavor. Across the hall,
the second full bathroom honors the lake setting with its rustic
cabin decor.
The Harmony Retreat's Great Room invites the outside in with
a two-story wall of windows facing the lake. This room features
a fireplace, 32" HD
LCD TV with DVD player and cable, hardwood floors, ceiling fan, and two
spacious sofas that convert to comfortable full-size beds with thick
pillowtop mattresses.
The
large, open kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to enjoy
cooking and dining at this lakeside retreat, including coffee maker,
blender, 4-slice toaster and special Cinderella toaster ("for
the princess in all of us"), waffle maker, dishwasher, and ice
maker. The dining table and counter bar seat 8. The
pantry comes stocked with spices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, pancake
& baking mixes & an assortment of snacks for you to enjoy during
your stay.
Secure wireless Internet access is provided, so feel free to bring your
laptop or netbook. Local phone service is free; bring a calling card
or your cell phone for long distance calls. Enjoy a variety of board
games, books, magazines, and DVDs for all ages.
The
fireplace adds warmth and ambiance in the winter. There's a complete
laundry
room with washer, dryer, iron and ironing board too.
Outside, the 1/3-acre property features richly varied naturescaping,
with stone paths, a dry creek, garden art, and many whimsical touches.
Lovingly created by the original owners through years of dedicated
gardening, these grounds are a retreat too, a place to become
steeped in nature's
beauty, while walking the paths, relaxing on weathered chairs on the
patio around the firepit, meditating under a canopy of tree branches,
or gazing down from the covered second floor deck while lying on the
hammock.
