We are a 50 person software development company in Lacey, WA looking for a Customer Support Specialist to assist with the following responsibilites:
• Interact with customers to help troubleshoot and resolve highly complex product problems or issues.
• Diagnose and resolve complex customer questions or problems over the telephone/internet in the areas of system configurations/setup, product functionality, and bugs/enhancements.
• Track and document inbound support requests and ensure proper notation of customer problems or issues.
• Inform management and/or product development team of ongoing or recurring product problems.
• Escalate extremely complex customer or product issues to the proper support specialist or to management.
• Stay abreast of current technology in products, design changes, and new products offered.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience supporting a complex software product
Programming knowledge a plus
Intermediate level skills in SQL
Excellent communication, writing, problem-solving, and customer service skills required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/management information systems, business, or engineering
