Hey vocalists!

We are looking for a male singer with a wide range who can sing from the low to high tenor range and falsetto higher on occasion, with a clean and soothing timbre, with no pitch problems at all. Preferably someone who has had some vocal training. Looking for someone in their low to mid 20's (no older than 25) with at least a decent image. If you are influenced by the bands Muse or Radiohead even better. We're looking for someone who is (or believes they can be) good at engaging a crowd as well.

We are a brand spankin new alt rock / pop rock / epic rock project with everything in place except the lead vocals. These were recorded on a hand-held Marantz recorder without a PA (which is currently out getting repaired) in our rehearsal room. Two songs feature a drummer we borrowed from the room next door. It's his first time playing with us (he doesn't have time for a band project).

The goal is to make a great record and play locally. If there's major label interest, then maybe something bigger, but that would, of course, be optional. We have good jobs and no plans to leave them for a no-budget tour.

Hello. I am a keyboardist and I have written numerous songs which have all been made electronically with synthesizers and looped-drum arrangements. I wrote a lot of the music with intension of adding more instrumentation and wish to start with brass (trumpet, sax, even oboe etc.). We were a five piece rock band who moved out to Seattle from Alabama. We consist of: 1 singer, 1 drummer, 1 bassist, 2 guitarists. However, 1 of our guitarists is moving back to Alabama.

We have a progressive rock sound that we would like to morph into something a little prettier and less cheesy.

Renton-based Metal band Systemik is seeking a focused, trustworthy bassist to join our ranks. Our style is melodic Thrash with a touch of Progressive. Our influences are wide, but include Machine Head, Pantera, Dream Theater, Tool, Corrosion of Conformity... the list goes on, just too much to mention. We also have PLENTY of original material, plus a couple of covers we play for fun. The requirements: your own equipment, willingness to contribute financially to the band when necessary, and transportation. Having your own jam space and being over 21 would be a plus, but not a deal-breaker (please be at least 18). We would also prefer that you be drug free. We all work day jobs and have serious relationships, and our hope is to go as far as the music will carry us, but we know at this point we've got a ways to go before we can ditch the jobs for the music. All we ask is that you can commit to jamming 2-3 times a week, no more than 2 hours at a time (unless an important gig or recording session comes up), and is up to playing gigs any day of the week. Other than that, just come ready to throw down.

i've always been told that i have a good voice and have earned awards to back it up. i can throw down tunes from queen to tribe called quest. i've got a unique voice and am usually able to mimic baritone to soprano (i use the word 'mimic' liberally here). with solo practice, i may be able to contribute some limited piano/keyboards. i'm a natural performer, am comfortable in front of crowds, get into the music, can move on stage, and can usually read music. bohemian rhapsody to humpty dance to shiny happy people to punk rock girl to besa me to whatever. maybe mix in some french or spanish licks or samples. i can also come with a professional audio mix master brother-in-law based in dc. he also plays tenor sax, flute, keyboards, and tabla.

i'm a professionally employed individual with a partly flexible schedule, so a full-time band gig would not be the best fit here. a fun, weekend and some weekday night practices, and maybe even performances to whomever will listen. i'm mostly looking for a sustainable creative outlet and singing is one of a couple.

I'm looking for a serious vocalist who can write melodies and sing dependably in key. I am a guitarist and have access to a very talented drummer and bassist if it seems that the singer is suited for what we do.

Age: 18-25 preferred

We would start out writing a couple acoustic tunes most likely, and move from there. Style will be whatever our combination works out best for.

It is important to me to be part of a project in which each member can work off of the ideas of the others, and take most of the creative control over their own instrument.

I like to practice no less than 2 times a week. Will practice as often as 5, or more to prepare for a show.
