Antique Auger Drill Bits for a Hand BraceI have over 30 square shank auger drill bits for a hand brace. These are all different sizes some are adjustable. All have some surface rust but would clean up well on a wire wheel. These would make a great addition to any colection or to be sharpened for use with a file or grinder. I use bits like these for boaring larger holes in wood, these are just my extras. These CAN NOT be used in ANY type of power tools. The threaded tip pulls the bit into the wood allowing it to cut. Using these in a power tool would be totaly unsafe!

It's been used lightly by a residential homeowner. Always stored indoors. A few paint spatters but otherwise no damage. Never carried on a vehicle or stored there. Just over a year old. We just have too many ladders around.
