I charge a FLAT RATE of $60* for homes approx. 2000 sq. ft. or smaller and $60 + for homes larger than 2000 sq. ft. (Homes around 2500-4000 sq ft. are typically around $75-100) I usually spend a minimum of 3+ hrs. , depending on size of home*Charge of $5 extra for travel to Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo. **Additional $10 for Pierce and King Co.-no charge for Gig Harbor, Belfair. ***Additional charges apply for clothes washing, folding, making beds, changing sheets, washing windows, etc...usually around $5-10 per task.

Hydroseeding is a process by which seed, water, fertilizer, fiber mulch, and sometimes lime are blended together in a tank and applied onto a prepared lawn area through a spraying hose. Once sprayed, the wet fiber mulch will help create a bond to the soil and provide the seeds with a water retaining blanketing-coat while protecting it from sunlight, wind, and erosion. As the grass seeds begin to germinate, the fiber mulch will slowly decompose adding nutrients to the soil.
Hydroseed can grow almost anywhere. You must water daily for the first two weeks, you will be able to mow it. Remember not to scalp your lawn; removing more than a third of the blade shocks the plant and weakens the turf. And keep your mower's blade sharp. When preparation, cultivation and maintenance are properly performed, you will enjoy a lawn as thick and green as the best farm-grown sod.
BENEFITS OF HYDROSEEDING
If you are planting a relatively large area, hydroseeding can be completed in a very short period of time.
Eliminate patches.
Hydroseeding can be very effective for hillsides and sloping lawns to help with erosion control and quick planting.
Less weeds.
Hydroseeding will typically cost less than planting with sod, but more than regular seeding.

Results are often quick with high germination rates producing grass growth in about a week and mowing maintenance beginning around 3-4 weeks from the date of application.
