Maintaining an inventory of furniture<br>

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and able to envision solutions to complex problems. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and must be able to work well with others. The abilities to work under minimal supervision and to prioritize multiple tasks effectively are essential.<br>

REQUIREMENTS:

This is a full-time, regular position with base hours of Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm.  This position requires a high school diploma and at least 1-2 years relevant experience.  Qualified applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD 2008 software.  Other requirements include the following:

•Must maintain current knowledge of new products, product application, and computerization programs (Word, Excel, AutoCAD 2008, AutoCAD LT)

The Energy Champion Engineer’s primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive energy management program at NPI.  This is a one-year contract position with joint funding from NPI and the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), funded through the City of Port Angeles as well as in-kind support provided by the City and the Industrial Efficiency Alliance (IEA).   The Energy Champion Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager at NPI, with the contract to begin immediately.  This position does have the potential to develop into a regular full-time role.<br>

DUTIES:<br>
•	Establish a strategic energy management plan; <br>
•	Establish and lead an energy team at the mill;<br>
•	Establish mill wide, and system specific, key performance indicators;<br>
•	Facilitate employee awareness and engagement in the mill regarding the energy program;<br>
•	Work with the mill to identify and prioritize energy projects;<br>
•	Work with BPA and the City to develop and implement energy management projects;<br>
<br>
REQUIREMENTS:<br>
•	Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field<br>
•	Minimum 5 years’ experience in pulp & paper industry<br>
•	Strong interpersonal skills with both operators and management<br>
•	Excellent oral and written communications skills<br>
•	Strong technical knowledge and experience of the papermaking process<br>
•	Proven experience identifying and implementing efficiency improvements in the mill environment<br>
•	Proven experience in team development and management <br>
