Hiking partner(s) wanted to share transport & treks (North Kitsap County)

The escalating price for fuel is affecting the amount of hiking I'm doing, so I wonder: Are there perhaps others like me in the North Kitsap area who'd be interested in occasionally sharing transportation to Olympic Peninsula trailheads? I hike both on weekdays and weekends, and prefer group sizes no larger than three or four individuals. Also, I tend toward enjoying non-technical hikes - usually starting off with fairly easy treks at the beginning of the season (ie: Dungeness Spit or lower Elwha River loops) and progressing in difficulty as the hiking season and my fitness progresses (ie: Mount Townsend, Maiden Peak, Klahani Ridge, Lake of the Angels, etc.). Importantly, I hike to enjoy the natural scenery, NOT as a form of physical competition. If anybody's interested, please share some thoughts.
