Hello!

My name is ChaCha. I am from Northern California. I've been a student for three years. I am 20 years old. I'm happy, fun, and independent. I love baking, I would like to learn to be a better cook. I like cleaning, I know it's weird, but it's an attractive quality in a roommate. I love darkroom photography, I love traveling. Overall I love making and doing new things.
I start at Evergreen in Janurary. I won't be moving until the first of the year, but I am hoping to come up in a week or so to visit and look at some places. I can pay rent for half the month, and move some stuff in, should it be a good match for everyone. WE NEED A PLACE TO LIVE =I let my ex husband move in when he became homeless, because I don't have it in me to make my sons father sleep in the cold rain with nothing. He stayed under my roof, with no job, no money, and nothing to offer. I'll skip some details until we talk in person, but long story short, he made me miss two days of work, so I got fired. The thing is, my daughter and I have nowhere to go. We have until the end of the month to find a place to live, because time is up on our current residence. Bank took over, we are only renters, and we have no choice but to move. We have nothing. We left Montana in attempts to get on our feet, and I thought I was doing that. It was a bold and desperate move, we left all our belongings behind. My ex husband took my life out from under me. While I was unable to work, and I was not home, my ex husband got my twelve year old son out of school early, took him to Montana, where we came from. He really didn't want to go, but that's something else. We are good people, who do good things. We're scared. My ex husband destroyed what little belongings I'd accumulated, and took my boy and left. He took my heart. But now me and my little girl are left, without family, without anyone...jobless. I have a good reference from my work, because my boss loves me to death. But I was sick for a month, and had to be sent home a few times early, so with these two days being missed, they said they had no choice. But my boss said I was a hard worker with an amazing heart. She said you could call her. I should be able to get a job, as soon as I can find one. God is in control, and I know something will work out. He has over 120 court cases against him, hes a slob who comes at 3am and bothers people. he fills each rom with druggies/crackheads, and even a family of 4!!! i have to share my bathroom with 8 people, and i just cannot deal with it.. anymore..

We have a nice house in North Rosehill area of Kirkland. Considered a 1 1/2 story home, it has 3 bedrooms plus a bonus, and 2 full baths.
Upstairs--large bedroom, "bonus" or office, or nursery room, and full bath
Main floor--2 bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, dining, LR, etc.
2 car garage.
Large backyard.
Quiet cul-de-sac
Corner lot
Many substantial exterior upgrades over the past 5 years--roof, gutters, windows, paint, drainage, ductless heat pump (we had planned to live here a long time).
Backs to undeveloped 3 acre property (Greenbelt adjacent).

This house is great, but not an ideal layout for a family with small children who are home all day. (We essentially live in the lower part of the home, and sleep upstairs).
This house would probably be ideal for an older couple wishing to "downsize" without actually downsizing (You could live on the main floor but have the upper floor available when you have your extended family visiting.)
Or, this house would work well for a family with older children (you can have separate floors for you v. your children). As I said, it just isn't working well for a family with little kids, who are still very dependent all day long for all kinds of care and supervision.

So, I know it is a long shot, but perhaps there is someone looking for this arrangement. We'd be looking to swap (with appropriate compensation if property differs some (In lower 400's) with someone also located in the Kirkland/Redmond area--we really like Rosehill, but would also consider highlands area, bridle trails area, or others. So i am looking to move this weekend. i need a 3 bedroom. I am a single mother of 2 a 1 y/o boy and 3 y/o girl who is disabled. I am very hard working. I have 2 jobs (comcast, and pierce county jail) I am moving to get away from my childrens father. i currently rent a 3bd house for over a thousand a month. I guess the only obsticle i face is i due have an eviction from 2006. I can afford to give 1000.00 this weekend to move in. My name is Annica, and I'm looking for new accommodations. Including utilities I can afford $500/month (if I could pay more, I would gladly, but the truth is, this is all that I can budget, or I can't eat). Currently I'm paying $500/mo (inclu utilities, cable, internet, garage spot). My landlord has decided that he no longer wants to rent out rooms, since him & his girlfriend are getting more serious and want their own space. He has given us until the end of December to move, but would like to move before that.

Before contacting me, please make sure you meet the following criteria:

-GARAGE SPOT for my convertible (my daily driver) and a parking spot for a 2nd vehicle (I am car sitting for a year) - Please acknowledge this in your email to save us both from any miscommunications. Thank you. They are both hatchback cars.
-Overnight guests allowed, whether it be my mom, a boy or girl friend, or anyone else I would like as a guest (this is VERY infrequent, and it has happened up to 4 days at a time in the past, and usually not more than one night for a guest)
-Ample storage room, I have A LOT of stuff for a 26yr old, I ain't gonna lie. I have a lot of outdoor gear because I volunteer with Snohomish County Search & Rescue. I also am an avid VW enthusiast, so I have car stuff around too.

Not "needs" per say, but it would be cool if:

-House is pet friendly with fenced yard (doesn't have to be fenced, but it's a plus)
-More of a bonus if the house as a pet! (I don't have a pet, but I love animals, so I'm basically a "free pet sitter" whenever needed)
-Nice workable kitchen (I love to cook & bake)

About me:
-I'm a 26 yr old female, very professional, reliable and polite. I work full time, Monday thru Friday 9-5, your typical "office job" hours.

-I'm a VW/Audi enthusiast (and realistically all European cars), and go to quite a few car shows each year.

As I do like to reduce my carbon footprint on the world, and cycle into work when it's convenient, a home within 5 miles of Mill Creek Town Center would be ideal. Currently I live about 4 miles away from work, and it's an awesome ride! I've been thoroughly enjoying it, and would like to continue. Also, the 5 mile is most ideal because in the bad weather, I don't want a commute that'll take me over an hour by bus to achieve, if that could be the case.

Again, the NUMBER ONE thing I'm looking for when I move is a GARAGE SPOT for my convertible. I am not able to afford to pay additional cost for a garage spot, so if you are asking for additional rent, then you will have to pass me up as your awesome future roomie! I drive a 1984 VW Rabbit convertible, so it's a very small car, but it needs to be garage kept. I have a 2nd vehicle (GTI) for the next year as well - I'm car sitting for my ex boyfriend while he is over seas in Kuwait. The 2nd car has no special parking requirements, other than that it is safe and needs to be driven about 2 times per week.

I do not have any pets currently, but I do love animals! So if there is a large dog or cat in the house, I will be very happy. I am not in a place in my life where I should get my own dog, so if I can borrow someone else's, it'll do! I love big dogs (like dobermans and mastiffs), and cats; and I would be happy to sit for your animal(s) if you were on vacation.

I do have preferences of who I live with, for many reasons. I have had many roommates in the past, and not all of them have ended well, so I like to be forward about what I'm looking for because I want an awesome living situation. Male or female doesn't matter. No more than 3 other people in the house is preferred. Preferably no kids, but if the kids are visiting like every other weekend, that could be ok. No cigarette smokers, I'm allergic. I prefer to live with individuals between the ages of 22-35.

I prefer to rent a room in someone's HOUSE with a YARD. No condos (unless it's a condo that's a "house"). I have avoided apartments for the last 6 years, and I'd like to keep it that way.
