Primary function
• Build relationships with commercial real estate property managers, owners and facility managers.
Qualities of a successful Sale Representative:
• Excellent Communication Skills - must work with internal and external customers to assure customer’s needs and company objectives are aligned
• Candidates are expected to have a Bachelors degree and professional sales experience.
• Communication with customers and employees will be in person, over the phone, email and written documents
• Customer presentations using Power Point will be expected
• Dedicated/ Self Motivated/ Confident
Understanding of Business Finances
• Ability to handle multi-million dollar portfolios with very limited margins
• A basic understanding of cost accounting and the ability to compile accurate cost estimates and handle accounts receivable is required
• Expected to understand the company’s financial model and negotiate contracts to meet those needs
Mobility
• Company vehicles are provided. Expected to spend at least 50% of their time out of the office with customers
Computer Skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft products along with Lotus Notes and SAP. (Training for Lotus Notes and SAP will be provided)
• Blackberry’s and Laptop computers will be provided. Expected to communicate with customers and access information while on the go
Ability to work as needed
• Customer luncheons, events, and dinners are expected as part of building relationships
• Travel for training, sales events and customer related trips will be required in this position
• Working nights and weekends will be expected if needed to meet objectives and satisfy customers concerns
