I found a key ring on my bike ride home today. They were found in the vicinity of NE 3rd St. under the I-405 underpass going up into the Renton Highlands. Petra is a young female German Shepherd who ran away from her transporter on October 25 in the Bothell/Kenmore/Finn Hill area. She is very shy and probably very scared right now. The last known sighting of her was Sunday, October 26th, near NE 141st St and 77th NE. If you see her, please contact us immediately. You may not be able to catch her, but we would like to know what area she might be in so we know where to search for her. Disappeared May 12 while visiting 13800 block of 162nd Ave SE in Renton. He is almost solid dark Grey neutered male, with a faint white bow-tie and a kink in the end of his tail. Weighs around 13 lbs. Some tabby marks on legs and tail. Very friendly and affectionate. Looks like a Russian Blue except for the yellow eyes. Has no collar and no chip. Answers to "Ashy". Reward for his return.

Recently an orange tabby cat has been hanging around our house alot. He's very friendly to humans (loves to roll around and get petted) and doesn't seem to mind other cats either.
He used to have a blue collar on but that is gone since about last week.

The cat has his right ear hanging down a little bit apparently due to an earlier injury, and also the tail looks like it has been injured at some point (it's fine now though)

We were in foster homes around 1948 and 1949 until 1952? Melonie was adopted out when she was three and has since past away and Cheryl and Cris were adopted together out of the Washington State Childrens home in 1953. Cheryl was 10 years old and Cris was 7. We all were born in Bremerton, Washington and understand our parents went to high school there. We have had no more information since 1953. On October 16, our beloved 13-year-old male cat (indoor/outdoor) escaped in the night. He has blue eyes, and white feet, and is mostly brown, with a black face, and white chest and stomach. He is friendly and playful and will talk in a mostly soft version of his otherwise loud Siamese cry. We miss him terribly! He was wearing an ID tag, and is "chipped", so if you want to know for sure he's ours, take him to a vet or shelter.

Petey Cockatiel Still Missing (Finn Hill, Kirkland, and beyond...)

Our cockatiel, who flew from home on 9/4/09, has yet to return. He is extremely friendly, so our hope is that he has hung around people, rather than raptor habitats. Petey is bright yellow from crest to tail, although his wings and a few ventral tailfeathers are dark grey. He has lovely orange cheeks and pink legs/toes/nails, with a black metal i.d. band on one ankle. Should anyone find him and have the inclination to keep him, please bear in mind: these are very intelligent and sociable birds, who bond with their first families as they would with a flock or a mate. Petey had been with us for his entire 8 years. His physical and emotional health will be best supported by the people who love him and whom he loves in return. Please inform us of any sightings, regardless of how distant from the neighborhood shown. A fully flighted bird could have covered hundreds of miles by now, or be a block away. We just don't know. Bucky is a normal brown and black striped tiger/tabby male cat. He is nine pounds, five years old and he has a mostly black bushy tail. He disappeared near the intersection of the Woodinville Juanita Way street and 100th Ave. NE in the north Juanita neighborhood of Kirkland. If you see him hanging around and wonder if he is lost, you can call me and I'll come and try to find him. My home number is 425-820-8556. My work number (most days) is 425-743-1127. Press 1 for the bakery. Just ask for Tom. Don't hesitate to call King County animal control (206-296-3940). These days animals are not being euthanized. They first scan for microchips. Bucky has one. Then if they can't find an owner in three days, they turn the animal over to the Humane Society which will hold the animal indefinitely or turn it over to a "foster home" shelter. Also most vets will happily scan an animal for free if you bring it in. You could just call me instead. Thanks for reading this. Tom
