Seattle Veterinary Specialists is a World Class Veterinary Hospital located in Kirkland, WA. We offer veterinary specialty care in the areas of surgery, neurology, internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, and critical care.
We are currently seeking a full time, experienced Veterinary/Surgical Scrub Assistant for our sterile supply and surgical department.
Job Summary:
The person we hire to fill this position will be required to record, implement, and maintain a workable, retrievable inventory system for instruments & equipment used daily by all departments of our hospital. They will also be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining all instruments and equipment used by all departments. The person may also be asked to help with patient care and in surgery as needed.
This is a pivotal support position which requires the ability to work well with a variety of personalities, and to demonstrate initiative and stability at all times. Basic knowledge of aseptic procedure, inventory systems, and veterinary instruments & equipment required.
Full-time days, Tuesday through Friday and some Saturdays.
