Large retirement community in the South Bellevue area is looking for an individual to fill our Breakfast Cook/Pastry Chef ... AM Building Security ... Cleanup of Kitchen and DR ... Position. The Lead Description is that this is a pastry chef position, with a morning breakfast cook job. It is a combo of a baker’s job, with a short order line cook/continental breakfast prep. In addition, you are one of two staff throughout the night providing our residents building security and an emergency responder (CPR required within 30 days of employment). And this position is also responsible for kitchen cleanup. This job is a Monday through Friday Mornings from 12:30 AM to 8:30 AM position. This is not a moon lighting job – it is work – and demands your whole hearted effort for the full 8 hours! Job Requirements/ Daily Work Routine:
1. Hard working, energetic and capable of self direction.
2. Breakfast Cook - So you must be able to "short order" breakfast and also prep and set up the morning breakfast bar.
3. Able to mop floors, vacuum carpets, empty garbage, and perform other light cleanup duties.
4. CPR– or able to be so within 30 days. Food Handler's Permit within 5 days.
5. Pass a Criminal Background Check as required by Washington State;
6. Represent Regency Newcastle in a positive and friendly manner at all times;
7. Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by Regency Newcastle's Employee Handbook;
