Seattle’s own Diana Krall, jazz pianist-singer Sandra Locklear, will bring her sensual sound to Bellevue in April. Drawing on her intensive background in many musical genres, Locklear has refined her jazz stylings over many years of performing in Europe and the United States into a distinctive sound that eludes classification.
Locklear will highlight the gorgeous sound of Steinway pianos at three adjacent locations in downtown Bellevue on Tuesday, April 8, Wednesday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 22, playing spring selections from the Great American songbook and jazz classics from 11 a.m. to noon in the Bellevue Hyatt Library near the fireplace, 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at center court in Bellevue Square and 2 to 3 p.m. on the second floor of Lincoln Center.
The Steinway piano performances are free, and the three adjacent locations—Hyatt Library, Bellevue Square and Lincoln Center—revolve around the corner of N.E. 8th Street and Bellevue Way N.E. Skybridges join the three sites. For more information, go to www.sandralocklear.com.
