Our Client is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer with a strong ODD/HDD and motherboard debug/failure analysis background. This person must have the ability to pick things up quickly and work well in fast paced environments!
Successful candidates will have significant experience and/or expertise in the following areas:
• Good understanding of circuit concepts and standard board design practices.
• Have direct working experience (design, failure analysis, and operational) on ODD and HDD
• Demonstrates this understanding through the analysis, review and debug of existing systems, new and existing board designs.
• Demonstrates proficiency with both the common and more complex test equipment and systems in use.
• Failure modes effects and analysis.
• Strong bench evaluation and in-lab debugging skills are required.
• Understands entire product development and manufacturing processes related to high volume consumer electronics.
• In-depth understanding of the technologies specific to consumer product manufacturing are considered significant pluses.
Qualifications:
Minimum BS/MS in Electrical Engineering.
A solid understanding of core engineering principles, circuit design and analysis are required.
Have directly design and failure analysis experience in working with ODD and HDD
Three to five years of experiencing designing, implementing, and shipping products of medium to high complexity.
Familiarity with PC, embedded system architectures hardware, and software a plus.
Strong communication skills and must be able to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms.
Must be a self-starter and able to perform independently with remote supervision
