This is a FUJI Discovery mountain bike with 21 speeds. It has Shimano gears (Exage 500 LX with Deore shifters) which work perfectly. It has center pull brakes, but no suspension. As you can see from the pictures, it is like brand new. This bike was purchased at Gregg's Greenlake Cycles. Standing height of the top bar is just under 30 inches.

I bought this bike for my wife about 6 years ago...it ended up being a little too tall for her, and she didn't like the top bar frame configuration. So, this bike has been hanging in our storage shed, and it is time to finally sell.

The tires are so unused...the little rubber "hairs" aren't even worn off. The bike does need new hand grips...I noticed the rubber was cracked when I pulled it down from the storage shed, so I just took them off. You can get new grips for under $20...so I set the price taking this into account.

Tires have had air for two days now, and are holding air without a problem.

Here is what Competitive Cyclist says about the bike: the Helium is made with an integrated seat tube/seatpost, it weighs less than the Excalibur at 900 grams thanks to the fact it uses a superior grade of carbon fiber. The Helium uses 30-ton carbon with areas of 40-ton and 50-ton reinforcements (in comparison to the 24-ton carbon used on the Excalibur.) By using higher-grade carbon, Ridley can literally use less carbon in the production process, netting a lower weight bike. The Helium also utilizes full carbon dropouts and doesn't use any aluminum in the head tube bearing races to reduce weight further. And when you factor in the detail that you need to use a conventional seatpost on an Excalibur, but you don't on a Helium -- the real net difference is weight is well over a half-pound in savings with the Helium.

You may be new to integrated seatmasts. For that matter, you may be new to sub-1000g framesets. Take heart in this fact: The Helium was the bike used by the entire Silence-Lotto team in the devastating cobbled classics like the Tour of Flanders. In other words, the durability of the Helium is second-to-none. Just because it might look exotic, it sacrifices nothing in terms of longevity. And in proof of how dynamic the Helium really is, it's the bike used by Cadel Evans as he single-handedly tried to fight off the Team CSC/SaxoBank armada in the high mountains of the 2008 Tour de France.

Being a relative noob regarding disk brakes on bicycles (or any other vehicle)and having worked on nothing more powerful than V-brakes (fixed A LOT of those, but that does not help much) I am not very familiar with disk brake specific terminology, so if I over-describe something it is because I do not know how to say it in one word yet. Bear with me.
I would like to buy a set of disk brakes. Two calipers, two compatible rotors, and two compatible levers if it is a hydraulic system. I am fairly confident I can come up with working levers for a cable-actuated system. Also if any kind of mounting adaptors or bolts are included I would be very pleased.
The frame and fork I intend to use has what are apparently called "51mm international standard" mounting tabs, rather than the "post mount" kind.
I am planning on building something that will require quite a bit of stopping power most of the time, but I am kind of waffling over the idea of the added complexity of a hydraulic system. I will need the ability, knowledge and confidence to fix whatever ails my steed without the aid of a bike shop, so reliability plus ease of maintainence and repair are also key. Speaking of which, if the calipers take a really hard-to-find type of pad, I would appreciate a spare or two.
I would like the rotors to be the kind that mounts with six bolts threaded into the hub, rather than the proprietary Shimano spline type, though there are always adaptors for those too. Not sure how large of a rotor diameter I could get away with and not have to worry about spoke or QR failure, but I hope that whoever has some of these to sell would know...
Now that I think of it if the brakes are connected to some decent quality hubs that would be good too.
Oh what the heck. I have not bought the frame yet so the exact parts I will end up using are still kinda fuzzy, but if the brake system is being sold as a unit with a set of fairly beefy 26 inch wheels with a multi-speed rear hub, that would be just the ticket for me. I would not have to trust my emerging (VERY kind adjective) wheel building skills, and I could sit somewhat easier in the saddle knowing that my wheels were less likely to explode when I hit the brakes.

I also have some assorted bike parts, road and mountain stuff mingled, that I could trade for this item, just ask.

Steel rails are chipped somewhat at the clamp area, rusting slightly underneath, easy for a wirebrush and some nailpolish (or other such protectant) to fix. Has molded plastic handles underneath the narrow end and the back for lifting a bike with one hand.

Sizing is actually a little tricky on this one. The horizontal top tube length is 23.5 inches and the seat tube center to center is 19.5 inches. So it seems like its a size large or maybe a tall medium, but according to Vicious, its an XL. I know this makes absolutely no sense, but that's how it is. Check out the Vicious website for other specifics about their geometry, but definitely don't take their XL at face value. I typically ride a large (I have 15 bikes, all size large or 58 in the case of road/cross/track bikes) and this bike is actually a little small for me. I usually run a 100-110mm stem and I need to run a 120mm on this to make it feel right. For comparison, the 2009 Kona Unit 29er has a 23.3 ttt in the 18 inch and a 23.9 ttt in the 19, which puts the Vicious somewhere between Medium and Large Unit, yet somehow they call it an XL? 2005 Titus SuperMoto bike in excellent condition for sale: SuperMoto is rated 5/5 on MTBR user reviews! Bike is a small frame setup as am all mountain bike with 6 or 7 inches of travel with Swinger air shock, Manitou Sherman 5 inch fork, Sun discotek wheels, WTB tires, King headset, Maxim carbon bar, Thompson stem, Hope mini rear and mono M4 front disc brakes, XT derailleurs and,shifters, Sugino cranks, uncut post to adjust to your liking: $795. Llightly used primarily in 2005 and 2006, no damage normal wear and tear only, excellent working order.

02 haro flair 20.5tt, this bike has chrome alex 48's with 14mm axels, the cranks are profile (stamped gt) with a sealed bb, new 33t sprocket ther rear
is a lhd 16 tooth, it needs a 13tooth left or right hand drive freewheel,
the pedals, gips, seat, and tires are new, the gyro has been removed. this bike is in great shape the hubs and bb have been cleaned and repacked it roll smooth. It now has new brake levers, chrome 2 peice bars, $175

This bike is approximately 10 years old but is in great shape. The rear hub has recently been replaced. The stock seat was replaced with a Schwinn comfort seat a couple years ago, and I recently replaced one of the inner tubes with a Slime self sealing inner tube. The frame has some cosmetic rust, but I recently had the bike tuned up at the Montlake Bike Shop and it is safe. I am only selling the bike because I have outgrown it.

For sale: 56cm Surly CrossCheck Frame Fork and Headset in Rare Bean Green Color. Top tube is 57cm c-c. Run it single speed or gears, 130 or 135 hub, racks, fenders; it'll do just about anything. Overall great shape, one small dent in the top tube, barely noticeable, no rust. Selling because I decided a 58cm would fit me better. email for more/better pics.
