***Wanted-Loss Mitigation Specialist*** for well respected local law firm.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Preparation of financial packages
• Calculation of profit and loss/income and expense
• Telephonic and written negotiations with financial institutions
• File intake and organization
The ideal candidate will possess one or more of the following:
• Understanding of current loan modification procedures and regulations
• Escrow, title, or loan origination experience
• Understanding of Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDPCA) State and Federal Guidelines
• Knowledge of Loss Mitigation skills such as repayment plans, short sales, deeds in lieu, and loan modifications
• Ability to evaluate gain /loss analysis to determine best course of action to help homeowners avoid foreclosure
• Ability to work in fast paced working environment
The following are highly desirable:
• Spanish speaking
• Supervisory Experience
• Collection experience
