Basic Job Function: 
<br>
Perform work that involves visual inspection of predefined construction areas and reading and interpretation of utility maps to determine the presence of underground utility (telephone), while using special electronic equipment to locate and protect the utility from being damaged. 
<br>

<br>
General Duties: 
<br>
Use lap top computer or other devices to receive, document and close out excavation notices, both during normal hours and after hours. 
<br>
Read and interpret utility maps / prints to identify the type and size of underground utility. 
<br>
Use assigned communication equipment to effectively communicate with excavators, utility techs, and company personnel, regarding underground facilities. 
<br>
Operate different electronic detection equipment, to locate and mark under-ground facilities within prescribed accuracy limits. 
<br>
Receive and respond to excavation notices during normal and after hours in accordance with established time requirements. 
<br>
Operate company vehicle in a safe manner, and maintain professional appearance. 
<br>
Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours. 
<br>
Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor. 
<br>

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: 
<br>
Successfully complete company’s locator training program, and pass applicable written and field tests. 
<br>
Develop general knowledge of State and Local damage prevention regulations. 
<br>
Develop general knowledge of utility construction patterns and layout. 
<br>
Learn and apply safety measures relating to motor vehicle operations. 
<br>

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 
<br>
Valid State driver's license. 
<br>
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks. Upon employment, will be subject to random drug testing in compliance with federal, state and company guidelines. 
<br>

WORKING CONDITIONS AND HOURS:

Outdoor working environment; extensive walking on various types of terrain. 
<br>

We have several long-term contract positions open for senior-level mechanical and electrical engineers to conduct design verification testing.

<b>Your Responsibilities:</b>
<br>
•	Work closely with our product development teams in refining design requirement specifications and developing the most appropriate test methods to conduct design verification testing. 
<br>
•	Responsible for generating design verification protocols which include justifiable sample sizes, test methodologies, and acceptance criteria. 
<br>
•	Perform engineering confidence testing (i.e. lab notebook studies) to confirm test methods prior to protocol execution. 
<br>
•	Oversee and conduct verification testing, analyzes data, and documents conclusions in final test reports.
<br>
<br>
<b>Your Qualifications:</b>
<br>
•	You must have a degree in engineering; a BSME or BSEE is strongly preferred.

•	5+ years progressively responsible experience in a high-tech, product development environment performing the same or similar activities as mentioned above is required.

•	3+ years within a Quality team in the Medical Device Industry is also required, implantable device experience preferred (Class III implantable).
<br>
•	Strong, current knowledge of FDA Design Verification/Validation requirements required.  
<br>
•	The Mechanical Engineer position requires deep knowledge of test standards such as ASTM and EN 45502-1 and familiarity with standard mechanical test equipment including measurement instruments.

•	The Electrical Engineer position requires deep knowledge of test standards such as UL, FCC and EN 60601-1 and familiarity with standard electronics test equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.

•	Excellent technical writing and communication skills also required.
<br>
•	Experience with Process Verification/Validation a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION <br>

The Project Engineer shall participate as a construction team member. The mission of the construction team is to produce successful, top quality construction projects for Tarragon Construction, LLC, safely, on time and within budget. <br>
<br>
The Project Engineer’s responsibilities shall include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following: <br>
<br>
• Provide assistance in all aspects of pre-construction, including but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, creation of monitoring systems and all aspects of mobilization. <br>
• Offer support with value engineering to ensure we are getting the most value out of the product and/or methodology of our construction. <br>
• Assist in the creation of the project schedule and support the efforts in providing periodic updates as necessary. <br>
• Assist with material takeoffs to guarantee accurate estimating. <br>
• Assist with project buyout, including but not limited to, contract review, scope of work definition/creation and procurement of required documentation. <br>
• Manage the RFI log such that all involved parties are aware of their responsibilities and the required timing of their actions. <br>
• Assist with review and distribution of Submittals and Shop Drawings. <br>
• Manage the Submittal and Shop Drawing log in a manner that recognizes all contractual obligations and allows for timely review and approval/denial of submitted information. <br>
• Assist in the review and execution of change orders such that all required information is obtained and the appropriate budget adjustments are recognized. <br>
• Monitor the schedule of required submittals for Tenant’s and assist in the follow-up as necessary. <br>
• Support with coordination of Tenant(s) contractors in the review of plans, specifications and project schedules. <br>
• Assist with cost coding of invoices and purchase orders in a timely manner that will allow an accurate reflection of project financial performance at all times. <br>
• Assist with managing the jobsite office, including but not limited to, filing, data entry and correspondence. <br>
• Assist with the tracking of required inspections to ensure that all jurisdictional obligations are satisfied in a timely manner. <br>
• Assist with quality control for all subcontracted work. <br>
• Assist in monitoring the Project Safety Plan to guarantee a safe work environment at all times. <br>
• Attend weekly job site meetings and prepare Meeting Minutes outlining items discussed, open issues and required actions by all parties. <br>
• Monitor the follow-up to the required actions as outlined in the Meeting Minutes. <br>
• Compile Operations and Maintenance Manual(s) and coordinate transition from construction to property management. <br>

Minimum	Requirements:	  Minimum 4 yrs recent experience as an electronic technician.  Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics. Must be a self-motivated problem solver who can multi-task and work well with others.  <br>
