Control, monitor and document the movement of military personal property shipments moving internationally, within CONUS and to/from Alaska. Resolve logistical problems inhibiting the movement of personal property and expedite transportation of shipments when needed to meet Required Delivery Dates (RDD).Work closely with the Military Traffic Management Offices (TMO), Steamship Companies, Port Agents and Moving Companies throughout the United States. Arrange pickup and delivery dates with the shipper, agents and trucking companies.  Trace and verify the status of shipments within required time constraints. Research and respond to customer requests for information. Document shipment pick-up headed to ports. Verify and approve invoices for service contracts and ocean freight charges. File vessel information and update files, Traffic system, and DPS. Fax Destination Agents and Ports for status updates. Resolve logistical problems as needed. Update weekly booking report.

The Incumbent will perform this position by receiving, processing and responding to rate requests for military One-Time-Only, (OTO) moves that are outside of established rate channels.  Responsibilities include evaluating daily bids and determining which ones to bid on, preparing and formatting the rate, and submitting the bid. As a Military Rate Specialist you will be required to competitively price international shipping services. This position is responsible for maintaining, expanding and updating rate resources, and produce rate tariffs. Building costs for our customer’s shipment requires contacting steamship lines, trucking company, airlines and agents.  This position requires you to be thorough in including all costs associated with each shipment and an ability to negotiate while building relationships with our vendors. OTO Rate requests are time sensitive and require a sense of urgency to turnaround same day requested. You will also control, monitor and document the movement of military OTO personal property shipments moving internationally and within the continental United States. Work closely with the SDDC, Military Traffic Management Offices (TMO), Commercial Steamship Companies, Port Agents and Moving Companies throughout the world. Addition duties include responding to customer requesting information, document shipment pick-up headed to ports and resolve logistical problems as needed.

The Customer Service Representative coordinates delinquent utility billing notices, collections, and provides recordkeeping and customer service functions for the City and its customers.  Receives customer inquiries and complaints regarding water consumption, water pressure, meter readings, and/or water leakage problems.  Provides primary telephone and counter service for the Finance Department.  Process field action orders and is responsible for customer follow-up and preparation of billing adjustments for customer service problems. The Customer Service Rep coordinates the business licenses and quarterly B&O taxes, provides record keeping and customer service functions for the City and its customers.  This position reads meters on a regular basis, collections in the field, obtaining final reads and banking courier services. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS<br>
•	Provide primary phone and counter assistance to the public in matters involving utility and business tax and license customer accounts. Follows up on customer inquiries and resolves complaints.<br>
•	Performs meter reading in the field.<br>
•	Process and follow-up on field action orders and billing adjustments.<br>
•	Coordinates routine delinquent account collection program including preparation and mailing of final notices, shut-off and turn-on orders, establishing and monitoring payment schedules, customer follow-up account research, preparing lien forms,  and assisting with collections in the field,<br>
•	Processes all business licenses applications, which requires receipting, entering applications into the computer and maintaining the files.  Coordinate inspections of on island businesses by Fire Marshal.  <br>
•	Sends out quarterly B&O tax returns and receipts and posts all tax monies.  Balances B&O system to general ledger at the end of each month.<br>
•	Balances cash register and performs backup of cash register system each day.<br>
•	Cross-trains with the utility billing and back flow functions in the finance department.<br>
•	Opens and distributes finance office mail and files utility field orders and other utility documents. Assist other finance staff with general office duties such as copying and other administrative duties.  <br>
•	Ability to drive a city vehicle, have a valid Washington State drivers license and good driving record.<br>
•	Performs other duties as assigned.<br>

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS<br>
•	High School Graduate/GED.  One or more years of clerical experience and/or meter reading experience.<br>
•	Knowledge of utility billing procedures and collection and B&O highly desirable.<br>
•	Notary License desired.<br>
•	Valid Washington State Drivers license and good driving record.  Must provide a complete drivers abstract upon first day of employment. <br>
•	Ability to reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.<br>
•	Must have demonstrated skills in accounting, 10-key calculator, and computer data entry. <br>
•	Must demonstrate excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)  and other technology tools including digital cameras, scanners, copiers, fax machines, multi-line telephones, and cellular phones, etc.<br>
•	Carry out work assignments. Includes using word processing, spreadsheet, database software, and internet. <br>
•	Ability to cooperate with others, communicate in a diplomatic fashion and present a positive image of city services. <br>
•	Ability to cope with interruptions, prioritizes work; organize documentation, and coordinate work. <br>
•	Must have demonstrated record of good work attendance.<br>
•	Must be able to work well with the public and cooperatively with other staff and departments.<br>
•	Must be bondable.<br>
•	Physical ability to carry out meter reading.<br>
•	Knowledge or experience in meter reading desirable.<br>
•	Must be willing to submit to and pass a background investigation and reference check.<br>

WORKING CONDITIONS and PHYSICAL ABILITIES<br>
Work is performed in office settings and outdoors in a variety of terrains, in and around parks, homes, offices and other structures.  Must be willing to work in all kinds of weather conditions.  Must have the physical stamina to complete meter reading. There is some exposure to noise, fumes, odors, and dust as well as to poor ventilation, slippery work surfaces and the hazards related to water and electricity.  Use of protective clothing such as steel-toed boots and rain gear may be required at times.  Work activities include combinations of sitting, standing and walking and the ability to lift 50-100 pounds routinely.  Work also requires the ability to see, hear and smell in order to detect problems.  Must be able to work under stressful conditions at times.  When in the office, work requires hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation skills are necessary to operate computers and various office machinery.  Ability to hear and speak clearly both in person and on the telephone. <br>

<description><![CDATA[<p>Isilon Systems is seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Strategic Account Engineer to be based in Seattle, WA. As a member of the growing Isilon Strategic Account Management team you will provide technical product support for new and existing Isilon customers. </p>
<p>Responsibilities: 
<p>
<p>*&nbsp;Consistent communication with the customer, which may&nbsp;include:<br>- Writing and presenting Post Case Analyses<br>- Scheduled conference calls with customer to keep them apprised of the progress of their cases and/or requests<br>- Scheduled status emails to customer regarding specific open cases<br>- Non-scheduled emails and/or phone calles to discuss specific open cases&nbsp;</p>
<p>
<p>*&nbsp;Work with other Isilon Systems teams to resolve customers issues and/or escalating issues or requests from the customers through the&nbsp;various escalations channels&nbsp;
<p>
<p>* Provide status updates to Manager of Strategic Account Management
<p>
<p>* Write technical bulletins to be distributed to customers and posted to Isilon Knowledge Base
<p>
<p>* Assist customers in implementing a capacity management process and scheduled auditing of those processes
<p>
<p>* Assist in the development of an incident management process
<p>
<p>*&nbsp;Escalate critical issues to the Manager of Strategic Account Management&nbsp;
<p>
<p>* Customer visits on an as needed basis <br>- When required, may be asked to travel to the customer's location to address the issues that the customer is experiencing
<p></p>
<p>Requirements: </p>
<p>* 6+ years minimum experience supporting customers of enterprise storage, networking or high-end server solutions for large enterprise accounts and data centers </p>
<p>* Ability to quickly learn new technology and new products </p>
<p></p>*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree preferred
<p></p>
<p>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills </p>
<p>* Experience with one or both Unix and Windows environments </p>
<p>* Experience with installation of software and hardware </p>
<p>* Persistence in obtaining resolutions to issues </p>
<p>* Ability to travel up to 25% </p>
