This is a canoe that I built about four years ago, used once, and then hung up in the garage. It works fine, I mainly built it to teach myself stitch-and glue boat construction. It is constructed of plywood and polyester resin, with thwarts and gunwhales made of red oak, and is very strong. I made rope handles to carry it with. It has a flat bottom.

Being only 13 1/2 feet long, it is best suited for kids, or one adult. Now I have a family of four, so I'd like to get something that can carry all of them.

Actually it's less than half price so we can fill the canceled trips at this late date! This is a YACHT not a "FISHING" boat! Yes we fish but in comfort! We usually send each guest home with 50 to 100 lbs of fillet fish.

Two canceled trips need to be filled. This is a rare opportunity, after many years in business our summer trips are filled with repeat customers that have had standing reservations for several years. We were booked for the entire 2008 summer season until we recently had two trips cancel, June 27 to July 3 and July 5 to July 11.

We fish (halibut, salmon, and a variety of cod and rock fish), and sight see the protected waters around the islands south of Juneau. The waters are calm and we anchor in the Islands quaint inlets and coves each night after traveling through the islands waterways fishing and taking in a variety of sights and activities. There is plenty to do for both the avid fisherman and those that would enjoy the sights and activities such as:
Visiting glaciers, watching whales, bears, sea lions, eagles and more. We shrimp (a usual pull is 35 to 40 lbs of shrimp), dig clams and crab. Many of our guests are women and many of our guest come mainly for the sight seeing and activities.

There are individual rooms and beds for sleeping six guests and individual beds for up to 10 guests (two guests per room, individual beds). There are four showers and five heads on board. Our regular price is $3800.00 per person.

We are offering this opportunity at $1800.00 per person. This includes virtually everything, food, fishing license, poles, bait, etc. We freeze and pack your fish and even the shipping (flight) home is included. Meals are prepared by our full time cook. Special meals are available at no additional charge upon request.

1981 Traveler 14� sled with a 1974? Evinrude elect. start 40hp with jet pump(28hp @ pump). Trailer is rusty but solid and has bearing buddies .
Boat licensed till �09, clear titles for both. No leaks! I tested it on the Chehalis this month.

Comes with: Humminbird 400tx fish finder, electric bilge pump, fire extinguisher, 4 pole holders, anchor system with 100� rope and anchor, 3 life jackets, built in watertight storage compartment, storage under bow, storage under steering console, new battery, built in power hook-ups for electric troll motor at stern and anything else that I have 2 of to throw in as well.

Needs a tune up and new sleeve/impeller set to make it fly on the water(never lend a sled to your nephew!) motor runs good as is, and always been very reliable but sleeve and impeller are rough! Less than 40 hrs on new pump bearings.

Perfect for lakes and large or small rivers, draws about 5"+- on full plane. fish salmon, steelhead, trout or sturgeon with a minimal investment and about $300 in parts and labor....much less if you do it yourself.
